Ever heard of Shotgun Bowling? How about Taser Tag? Strip Ping Pong? Dwarf Curling? Log Boxing?

Ever heard of Shotgun Bowling? How about Taser Tag? Strip Ping Pong? Dwarf Curling? Log Boxing? If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you’re seriously missing out. Back in 2006, Spike TV launched a show called The Wild World of Spike, which basically featured a group of guys doing a bunch of really, really stupid things – kind of like Jackass, but with the added bonus of more hot chicks and no Steve-O. You’re probably thinking, “What the hell do shotgun bowling and strip ping pong have to do with one another?” The answer: not much, but they’re still fun to watch.

The show brings together three hosts: Kit Cope, a UFC fighter, Jason Ellis, a professional skateboarder, and Sam Tripoli, a comedian. Their job is to watch videos of the most messed up, ridiculously stupid, and unexposed sports every created. I’m not talking national sports here; I mean the type of sport where you and 15 buddies decide to start clothes lining each other and call it a pastime. These three guys are hilarious, and the sports they find are even better.

How does it work? Well, first our hosts watch a slew of videos demonstrating that you can never underestimate the stupidity of people. The videos can be either a completely made up sport that some guys decided to give a go, or an actual sport just foreign to North America. Once they watch these videos they vote on which sport to try, then the real fun begins. The sports almost always have some gorgeous girls involved one way or another; the best example I can give you right now is mud wrestling. If the girls aren’t taking place in a competition, they’re more than likely the prize, giving the winner things like a kiss or, in one case, a quick look at the top half of the female anatomy. Awesome.

The only problem now is, from what I can tell, Spike TV is no longer hosting the show. I wasn’t able to find anything on any new episodes but don’t worry – it isn’t gone completely. Until we hear about where it’s going, there’s a huge section of videos hosted on iFilm.com, which actually became SpikeTV.com after a recent merger. MTVN has chosen to combine the video uploading capabilities of iFilm and the online clip library at SpikeTV. This is guaranteed to spike (hah!) your interest in the show, and at the very least, give you a good laugh.

Without further ado, I now present to you another yet entertaining way to pass time at the office, disgust your girlfriend, and make you wince. Say hello to the Wild World of Spike:

Shotgun Bowling

Bike Polo

Pudding Wrestling

Harley Hotdog
